This past week of June 12, we accomplished the following work:
- Finished installation of protective fence across the Eastbound bridge
- Continued to install rip-rap for slope protection under the Eastbound bridge
- Continued to install Turf establishment along EB
- Continued excavation in the medians on the Newtown and Southbury sides
- Completed removal of the Site 1 & 2 access road block walls
- Continued to monitor and control environmental BMPs
The Contractor will be working Sunday night, June 18 from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM
During the week of June 23, we will continue to:
- Shift precast barrier on I-84 WB
- Restore access roads using material from the temporary re-use stockpile area (TRSA)
- Install the water quality swale Southbury & Newtown
- Install rip-rap for slope protection
- Restore the medians on the Newtown and Southbury sides
- Monitor and control environmental BMPs
