This past week of June 5, we accomplished the following work:
- Milled, paved, and striped I-84 EB tie-ins
- Opened EB I-84 in its final alignment over the eastbound bridge
- Continued to install protective fence across the eastbound bridge
- Continued to install rip-rap for slope protection under the eastbound bridge
- Continued to install turf establishment along I-84 EB
- Began excavation of the medians on the Newtown and Southbury sides
- Began removal of the temporary barrier
- Continued to monitor and control environmental BMPs
During the week of June 12, we will continue to:
- Remove temporary barrier
- Restore access roads using material from the TRSA
- Install protective fence across the eastbound bridge
- Install rip-rap for slope protection
- Restore the medians on the Newtown and Southbury sides
- Monitor and control environmental BMPs
