The Contractor will be onsite:
- Relocating and unloading demolition barges
- Breaking down Abutment 1 temporary steel support to relocate to Abutment 2
- Continuing to drill and grout reinforcing at Abutment 1
- Continuing concrete demolition at Pier 1
- Continuing to monitor dust
Completed Work (Week of 7/02/2022)
- Continued steel demolition of the eastbound bridge
- Continued to drill and grout reinforcing for Abutment 1 footing
- Continued water transportation and rescue operations in support of demolition crews
- Removed safespan demolition shielding
- Completed concrete deck removal and removal of concrete approach slab
Upcoming Work (Week of 7/11/2022)
- Continue steel demolition of eastbound bridge
- Assemble and install effective concrete formwork platforms at piers
- Continue reinforcing steel installation
- Begin Abutment 1 footing formwork
- Perform pre-assembly of pier reinforcing steel cages
