This past week of July 3, we accomplished the following work:

  • Continued to restore access roads using material from the TRSA
  • Continued to install the water quality swale Southbury & Newtown
  • Started installation of metal beam rail westbound
  • Completed installation of rip-rap for slope protection
  • Continued to restore the medians on the Newtown & Southbury sides
  • Completed full depth paving WB I-84 Newtown & Southbury side
  • Began removal of temporary barriers off site
  • Continued to monitor and control environmental Best Management Practices (BMPs)

Night work continuing 7-9-23 to 7-18-23 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Working every day from 7-10-23 to 7-14-23

Next week of July 10, we plan to accomplished the following work:

  • Start milling for final overlay WB (Sunday – Tuesday)
  • Start final paving I-84 WB
  • Continue to restore access roads using material from the temporary re-use stockpile area (TRSA)
  • Continue to install the water quality swale Southbury & Newtown
  • Continue to install metal beam rail westbound
  • Continue to restore the medians on the Newtown and Southbury sides
  • Continue to monitor and control environmental BMPs
