This past week of July 3, we accomplished the following work:
- Continued to restore access roads using material from the TRSA
- Continued to install the water quality swale Southbury & Newtown
- Started installation of metal beam rail westbound
- Completed installation of rip-rap for slope protection
- Continued to restore the medians on the Newtown & Southbury sides
- Completed full depth paving WB I-84 Newtown & Southbury side
- Began removal of temporary barriers off site
- Continued to monitor and control environmental Best Management Practices (BMPs)
Night work continuing 7-9-23 to 7-18-23 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Next week of July 10, we plan to accomplished the following work:
- Start milling for final overlay WB (Sunday – Tuesday)
- Start final paving I-84 WB
- Continue to restore access roads using material from the temporary re-use stockpile area (TRSA)
- Continue to install the water quality swale Southbury & Newtown
- Continue to install metal beam rail westbound
- Continue to restore the medians on the Newtown and Southbury sides
- Continue to monitor and control environmental BMPs
