During this past week of November 29, we continued pouring parapet sections and began paving the approaches to the bridge on each side.
The Contractor will be working both Saturday and Sunday, 12/4 & 12/5, this weekend.
During the week of December 6, 2021, anticipated work includes:
- Complete the pouring of parapet sections
- Place membrane waterproofing on the concrete deck surface
- Continue paving of the approaches
An asphalt overlay will be placed on the deck surface after the membrane waterproofing has been completed.
Within the next two weeks, we anticipate switching Westbound traffic across the new Westbound bridge. Eastbound traffic will remain on the old Eastbound bridge in its current alignment. This will allow work on the median crossovers for the next phase of construction to occur over the winter months.
