This past week of April 10, we accomplished the following work:
- Completed applying the waterproof membrane on the bridge deck
- Removed remaining barges in the channel & crane
- Continued forming and pouring the EB Concrete barrier wall
- Continued existing substructure concrete spot repair
- Continued to install rip-rap for slope protection
- Continued to rub and grind parapet concrete
- Began full depth reconstruction of the roadway on EB Southbury side
- Continued to monitor and control environmental BMPs
The Contractor will have crews working Saturday April 8.
During the week of April 17, we will continue to:
- Form and pour the EB Concrete barrier wall
- Perform full-depth reconstruction of the roadway on EB Southbury side
- Spot repair existing substructure concrete
- Install rip-rap for slope protection
- Rub and grind parapet concrete
- Monitor and control environmental BMPs
