No work is anticipated on the project on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
During the week of May 17, we will continue reconstructing tops of abutments and piers, which includes:
- Concrete removal;
- Drilling and grouting new reinforcing steel;
- Placing formwork and pouring concrete.
We will also continue work concerning footing modifications at Abutment 1 (west abutment) and installation of a cofferdam at Pier 3 so modifications there can be performed in a dry site.
