This week workers will be assembling cranes to be used for removal of structural steel from the Westbound Bridge. One crane has been walked from the trestle onto the barge.
Removal is scheduled to begin late in the week of March 1. Removal of the steel over the channel is scheduled to be completed by 3/13/21, and the channel remains closed through that date.
